Your style:

I love beautifully detailed and well made clothes, feminine, and edgy key pieces that withstand the test of time. i dont have a definitive look, i like to mix it up and all with a love of accessories. i also dont overly shop, And tend to be selective with my purchases. I shop by eye, and with a passion for my favourite Trends so whatever may draw and hold my attention.

if i see something and I think its unique or beautifully feminine, then i usually will be drawn to that purchase. Its fun to mix Vintage with new designs, and i was given my first vintage item, a blue velvet and buttoned French jacket, with rose & duck yellow stitching, trimmed with old lace. by mum at aged eleven. i was competing in an Annual book Competition, and with the requirements being to dress up as your favourite book character.

When i was younger i was your typical aspiring princess, and chose to dress up as Cinderella. i came second place wearing a beautifully created white and pale blue dress. with a mass of under layers of white lace, silk and satin. all with the help and time of my mum. I designed it and she created it. & thus my love for fashion began.

Where does your creativity come from:

Everything.. just by being open to the world around me, my creativity can stem from innate objects or the effects of nature and change.

What cant you leave the house without:

My phone, it has all my music. i like to travel through london with music in my ears.

A carmex lip pot, an essential must have for any girl or woman, no other base lip gloss will do.

a mirror, sweets..{im more of a candy appreciator..and like to snack on sweets.}

How would you say your style has evolved:

Its become more experimental and expressive. Before i would purchase solely Trendy buys, and shop by label. but now as ive found my own interest in my personal style. i shop more according to what suits my frame and personal colour palette.

Who is your main source of Inspiration:

My mum is my main source of inspiration, & my best friend. more like sisters, i love her dearly. And would not be the person i am today. without her guidance and encouragement. She is also the most giving person I know. & Unconditional in everything she does. She inspires me to be the best person i can be, and to be believe in my potential.

Fashion can sometimes:

Give the wrong impression. Others may view the world of fashion as superficial and repetitive. but there is a lot of good to be done and given with fashion as well.

What are your favourite stores for finding a bargain:

If you live in London the markets are an absolute must. I love Liverpool Street Market you find amazing items for purchase at half the prices. & from brands and store names such as ASOS, ZARA, & FCUK. markets are a great place for finding handmade designs and accessories which prove to be something unique. Portobello is not at all far from where I live in London’s Ladbroke grove area..and is also a wonderful market with great key vintage stores. And young independent designers, who sell their art, fashion & handmade jewellery designs.

What Inspires you in design:

Art and the freedom to explore, whether through books, music, illustrations, text or paintings. They all help me to channel my creative thoughts. Along with the people who leave positive influence and effects in my life.

What are your Habits:

Im a perfectionist, Very much so..& with everything i work on. I like things to be just right. im never satisfied with my own work. And can always see ways for improvement. which i think is a good way to be, as it gives me reason to challenge myself. And advance onto the better next time.

Something you would not want:

To become a slave to anything. or anyone. Neither fashion, art or even my own thoughts. The world is constantly evolving. & so I think its important to find your true self. And not be afraid to embrace the new and now at every changing moment. I also would not want to loose my need to express myself creatively through different media’s. i would feel lost.

What is your earliest memory:

Days spent playing with my sister, creating castles out of boxes. And trying on our mothers shoes and clothes with our Grandmothers jewellery. Back then we thought Nail polish as paint.

What are Nyc/London/Paris/ & Milan to you:

My Past, Present & Future.

I have never been to Nyc or Milan, but would love the opportunity to go both places.

Paris is my past ive been to Paris on two occasions. And i absolutely love it there. i love the air, the people, sights, the language, and the atmosphere. & London is my home. i adore London. i love everything about it. its where half my heart is.

The Future is:

An unknown adventure. yet also slightly pre destined by my actions.

And is one that i want to make sure, is the one that i want for myself. I hope to develop my own label, and collaborate with various designers and Magazines through my Fashion illustrations. As well as donating my illustrations & other Arts for charity events, in order to raise awareness and money to benefit good causes.

What makes you Happy:

To be able to touch, to smell, To hear, See & Taste, senses make me happy.

Art, Music, words, colours, textures, Family, & friends. As well as sweets make me happy.

In the store where i live, the owner told me that i have a sweet love, similar to that of a child.  lol. and thats true. i love candy and maybe because its something reminiscent of my childhood. I don’t indulge often in desert foods etc..but i think i will always love sweets. I seem to be a child at heart both in spirit and with the way I view the world so openly. As though seeing and exploring for the first time, each time.

What do you have faith in:

Have faith always In yourself and others, A little faith goes a long way.

Who is your style Icon:

Alexa Chung, Agyness deyn & Kate moss, with a mix of floral prints and dresses, band t-shirts, jeans, and floaty skirts, with tailored jackets, they each create effortless great style.

Money Makes:

The world go round, but also makes people forget to appreciate, and pay attention to the little things that hold just as much importance if not more. Money can also make people forget their true selves. But if it was not money, we humans would find something else to greed over. whether monopoly money or shells.

Most reliable wardrobe item or look:

Light washed skinny Jeans, a simple floaty top with print, waistcoat, long chain & Boots.

We should Love now Because:

Hatred eats you up whole, weakens the soul, and takes up too much time and effort. Everything has a purpose, and we only evolve through learning. Anything you dislike just makes you realise a little bit more about yourself.

What do you like to do:

I love to draw and paint, whilst listening to music, as well as take pictures, cook, Organise or plan, & sketch designs,..i love drawing and the thought process behind beautiful collections.

what is a fact about you:

i have a vivid imagination. & a love for all things feminine with a fantasy influence.

What are your thoughts for the rest of this year:

Having sleep as the lowest priority, Being creatively driven, and maintaining a positive and determined attitude, in everything i will work towards in my studies.

What do you hope for:

To live without regrets, doing the things i love the most.

& to always be happy and content with the life ive been blessed with. By achieving my ambition of making something of myself within fashion & art. Whilst inspiring others with my work and my thoughts, & to complete all my set ventures for this year and Next.
